Zen is amazing. The place is clean, spacious and offers delicious food and drinks. Service is excellent. They have a welcoming bar area, comfy dining furniture and flavorful food. Give them a try and thank me later. This location has more parking and elbow room compared to their other spot in Carmel Mountain Ranch. With big screens, unique offerings and even late night mahjong, why wouldn't you want to drop in. I'll be back soon.

We checked out this restaurant during Restaurant Week and it was a real great deal. It’s only $25 per person for 3 courses meal. I had a spicy sour soup for appetizer, a honey walnut shrimp for entree and a matcha basque for dessert, it was very delicious. The portions were very filling and large! Although this place is a typical American style Asian restaurant, what we had were not authentic Chinese food at all, but they all taste good, that’s enough for us. We liked it. The service was pretty nice and Sky Deck has beautiful environment, I highly recommend here, especially for restaurant week.

Really delicious and excellent service. I came here for a birthday dinner with my family. Everything was very fresh and tasty. I decided to go light and had the chicken lettuce wraps. My youngest got the orange chicken. He's super picky and a small eater, but ate half of the generous portion. They even gave me a small piece of cheesecake with a candle for my birthday. So sweet.

Went for San Diego restaurant week to try a new place...the food was really good and the service was excellent. We had the cucumber salad and hot and sour soup appetizer, Chicken lettuce wraps and spicy pork dumplings for 2nd course, and for entrees we had the shrimp and scallop dish and the sea bass dish. Each was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The chili oil was a nice addition to add kick to the mains. For cocktails we tried the Cucumber Crush (gin based) and Matcha cocktail (vodka based) and both were excellent. Not too sweet and properly refreshing to balance out the heat of some of the dishes. The restaurant is located in the one paseo shopping center food court (which is a fun venue but could get loud at times).

Followed zen to this location from their previous location in Poway. The sweet chili wok classic with chicken is one of my favorites while the wife favors the black pepper steak. The drinks are new to us there as the last spot didn't have a liquor license. Tried the Chinese 5 spice old fashioned was quite tasty along with the mont blonc cake. Will happily come again when the craving strikes us. The zen wings are still good but used to be more spicy ( edit- went back and they are just as good as before now). Everything is tasty and there are new items
